Borough of Bradford Woods
2019 Roadway Improvement Program
Date: 09/16/19 (REVISED)

Dear Resident,

The Borough of Bradford Woods has contracted with A. Liberoni Construction, Inc., via
the public bid process, to provide road resurfacing services for this season. The Borough has
included your road in this year’s program. Road improvements (weather conditions permitting) will
take place between 7 A.M. and 7 P.M. beginning on Tuesday 9/17/2019 and will take place
through Friday 10/11/2019. There is to be no parking between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 7:00
P.M. on your street during the project. Cars parked on the street while will be towed at the owner’s
expense. Below is a list of the phases that we will be taking for completion of the project.
Any Homeowner with underground electric lines/dog fences or sprinkling systems located in the
borough right of way (along the street at the curb) will need to be marked as we are not responsible
if they are damaged.
2019 Roadway Improvement Program consists of:
Drainage: Installation of Storm pipe and Removal and replacement of Inlet tops and grates.
Roadway Milling: The existing roadway will be milled to a depth specified by the contract. This will
in effect lower the road temporarily, please be cautious driving over manholes or any type of
exposed material. Your driveways will be subsequently ramped to accommodate access in and out
of your driveway. Access to your driveway will be granted at all times, but we ask you to please
limit the number of times you access your driveway while we are working on the street.
Roadway Paving: Hot-Mix Asphalt will be placed on your roadway. The final product can be
adversely affected based on traffic volume on your road during placement. We ask again that you
limit the amount of travel required during the placement of asphalt.
If you have any questions or comments in regards to this notice or in regards to the paving project
in general, feel free to contact us or the Borough.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this project.

Please review the above letter, as you may be a resident not living on the roads under the improvement project, but may come across the project. Please plan accordingly when driving around the Borough, and most importantly, please be extra cautious when driving in the areas.
