Yard waste is picked up by Waste Management. Yard waste includes:
- leaves
- grass clippings
- branches
- brush
- flowers
- roots
- wood waste
Yard waste must be put in biodegradable bags for pick up.
It is debris that is commonly thrown away in the course of yard and garden maintenance. It DOES not include: loose soils, sod, food waste and hazardous substances.
*With the exception of Christmas trees, materials larger than four inches in diameter and four feet in length shall not be considered yard waste. Yard waste is to be placed in brown biodegradable bags and placed at curbside by 6:00 a.m. on the designated pick-up date.
